Race Summary
WAKKI GOLD drifted in at the start and jolted LOUSHE ON THE LEAD, was never far
back and five wide, took over leaving the sixteenth pole and drove clear under
urging. LOUSHE ON THE LEAD, bumped soundly by the winner at the break and forced
in on PITY FIRES, settled inside on the first turn, eased out four wide on the
backstretch, took over in the upper stretch, then wasn't a match for the winner
late. PITY FIRES, bumped at the break and forced in by by LOUSHE ON THE LEAD
when that was bumped by WAKKI GOLD, raced inside within easy striking distance
but couldn't offer the needed late gain. SLEEPWALKER, within striking distance
and between rivals three or four wide, was never far back but lacked a closing
account. FASHIONABLY EARLY angled in early to force the pace, continued
forwardly into the final furlong and was empty thereafter. NAVAJO CAVERN,
sluggish to start and angled inside, moved five or six wide to reach contention
in the upper stretch but failed to continue. I'D BELIEVE gained the lead early,
moved inside, made the pace to the stretch and faltered SUGAR PLUM never
menaced. SLEW MARKER tired early. BERNIES IRISH GIRL tired upon going a half. A
FOUL CLAIM LODGED BY THE RIDER OF WAKKI GOLD AGAINST LOUSEHE ON THE LEAD FOR
ALLEGED INTERFERENCE AT THE START WAS DISALLOWED.

Race Summary
ROYAL REGAN tracked front-running MILITARY CASH from early on, took over in the
upper stretch, drew clear, then was kept to her task. INDY TROUBLE, outrun
early, moved inside, rallied from the rail and was going well at the end. MARY
CAT, never far back, could not offer the needed late response. MILITARY CASH
gained the lead early, drew clear, maneuvered in three or four wide, showed the
way to the stretch and weakened. TAP MY FEET, within easy striking distance
throughout, came up empty the last eighth. THEORETICAI failed to rally in an
even effort. BEST MOM stalked the pace into the stretch while four or five wide
and flattened out. LOUSHE ON THE LEAD wasn't a factor. NAVAJO CAVERN failed to
menace. RUBY DELIGHT was outrun. SKIP TO THE WIRE faded after a half. ALL RACES
AT KENTUCKY DOWNS ARE HAND TIMED.
